determineVersion¶

lsst.sconsUtils.installation.determineVersion(env, versionString)¶

Set a version ID from env, or a version control ID string ( $name$ or $HeadURL$ ).

Parameters

envSCons.Environment: The SCons environment.
versionStringstr: The string containining version information to search if the version can not be found in the environment.

Returns

versionstr: The version.
