RefMatchTask

RefMatchTask matches a source catalog with objects from a reference catalog.

Processing summary

RefMatchTask runs this sequence of operations:

  • Find position reference stars that overlap the exposure.

  • Match input source catalog to the position reference stars.

  • Return statistics on quality of match.
